A Simple Problem
For Bill, the idea started with tea. He loved drinking it, but he didn’t love the bitterness that could take over an otherwise good cup. He tried adjusting water temperature, steeping time, and tea leaves, but the results were never consistent. There had to be a better way.
Removing What Does Not Belong
As a lifelong engineer, Bill began exploring the science behind unwanted flavor compounds and how they could be selectively reduced. After countless tests, he found an approach that changed the experience completely. The bitterness faded, and the drink tasted smoother, cleaner, and more balanced.
The First Sip That Changed Everything
Bill shared the idea with Marty, his friend and business partner. Marty was a dedicated coffee drinker and had the same frustration with bitterness in his morning cup. At first, he was skeptical. But after trying the new approach, he noticed the difference immediately. His coffee was smoother, richer, and far more enjoyable.

What began as a way to improve tea and coffee became something bigger: a new way to elevate everyday drinks by helping reveal the flavor that was already there.
From there, Bill and Marty began testing the idea across other beverages. Orange juice. Apple cider vinegar. Spirits. Again and again, they saw the same possibility: when the harsh, bitter, or sharp notes were reduced, the drink became more enjoyable.
